On October 8, 2007, associates at Interior Solutions have teamed up to provide reading assistance to school children of all ages throughout Lincoln Elementary. Teams will work with the children on a weekly basis throughout the school year. In November, Interior Solutions will be hosting the school's annual 'Turkey Trot', where turkey dinners will be awarded to 60 families. "We are sure that through these associations with the children, that our lives will be enriched." said Lynnette Wagner, Interior Solutions program coordinator.

Two Premier Utah Dealers Merge

The Salt Lake City-based office furniture dealerships of Interior Solutions and Contract Furniture Gallery have implemented a strategic merger effective November 1, 2004. They will continue together under the name Interior Solutions, with Contract Furniture Gallery identified as a division of Interior Solutions.

Interior Solutions and Contract Furniture Gallery are the two largest Utah dealers for Kimball Office furniture, a $1.5 billion manufacturer. Their merger provides a significant resource for private and public sector entities that value Kimball's tradition of quality workmanship. Contract Furniture Gallery is one of only 29 Kimball Office Select Dealers in the United States. With the merger, Interior Solutions will secure the Kimball Office Select Dealers designation, along with the pricing and service benefits it provides to local Kimball customers.

In addition to offering Kimball Office products, the merged company will represent Global, AIS, La-Z-Boy (commercial seating), National, and more than 100 other manufacturers of office and commercial furniture.

"Our combined offering provides products to meet virtually every need and at every price point," said Pete Harris, Interior Solutions co-owner and manager.

Founded in 1989, Interior Solutions has grown to be one of the largest contract furniture dealers in Utah. It currently has two principal operating divisions: one division focuses on selling and marketing contract furniture; the other division emphasizes services related to office furnishing, such as providing installation, reconfiguration, asset management, office relocation management and office furniture maintenance. Interior Solutions' managers anticipate that the addition of Contract Furniture Gallery to the furniture sales and marketing division will increase Interior Solutions' furniture sales by 33 percent.

"Interior Solutions currently has more than 150 employees in its services division," said Harris. Interior Solutions has expanded outside Utah, with a significant presence in Idaho, Arizona and Nevada.

Harris will continue to manage the overall operations of Interior Solutions, including both the furniture and the service activities. Don Leonard, founder and President of Contract Furniture Gallery, will work with the Contract Furniture Gallery division, managing the transition. To help facilitate the merger, Jason Woodbury, formerly with Contract Furniture Gallery, moved to Interior Solutions in September, taking on the role of Sales Manager for Interior Solutions' contract furniture divisions.
